“Pen lids, toys, string,” – an illustrated Haiku

Black water-soluble fineliner pen and watercolour on paper.

This is from my homemade book, “Poems from Home: a Collection of Illustrated Haiku”. I wrote, drew and painted them, quite a few years back. I enjoy sharing one here occasionally; a few left to share yet. 🙂
Have a great weekend.

    1. Thank you. 🙂 I loved visiting your blog just now…you’ve written so many interesting articles! I was going to stop and comment…got side-tracked. I’ll get back there soon. Your book “ListenTalk” sounds fascinating and I’ll be getting a copy soon. I liked your link to “divergent thinking”…which mentioned Edward De Bono..love his books. The sun is shining (it’s winter here in Australia) I’ll get out and enjoy some of it. Thankful to God for everything..hope you have a lovely weekend. ~ Janette 🙂

    1. Thank you Barb! This collection is pretty colourful. I cut around the pics and words and pasted them on to black A4 sheets, which brought out the colours even more. However, unlike other smaller books I’ve stapled and bound, unfortunately, these pages were to cumbersome to do that technique; so I had to put them into a plastic pocket book, for now. So I tend to call this book homemade instead of handmade.
Anyway, it’s all good fun. Hope to create an ebook of this one and some of my other books using the app, “Book Creator” – eventually! Hmm, hope to, given time, share more on my blog about my books…. All the best, Janette. 🙂
