Lovely! I also enjoy drawing and painting on tinted paper. It adds so much.

Thank you. ๐ Yes, tints are great. I like how the tint colour can become part of the artwork in places; and how colours can look brighter than usual or be changed in interesting ways by the tint. This also happened here, even though the tinted surface is from an art app. But then, “Art Set Pro” is quite an amazing app! Have a lovely weekend ~ Janette. ๐

Thank you…Your work is excellent! Love the portraits you do. I think I may use some water soluble pastels again soon…haven’t for a while. Thank you very much for the nomination, you guessed right, I”ll decline..I think it’s lovely enough, that you thought to nominate me. So thanks, again. ๐
You are on my “Blogs I Enjoy” (and follow) link list now, I checked and you weren’t there…thought I’d added your blog there a while back! So I fixed that up today. ๐ Hope you have a lovely weekend, cheerio…Janette.

I love the colors! While we were away, we had no wifi the whole time. I missed your blog, and It’s good to have easy access once again.

Thank you. Nice to have you back..from your last post seems like you had a good time. There’s another post of yours there that I’m yet to see…the wifi here tonight is very slow! and it’s not loading properly. I look forward to reading it tomorrow. No wifi, for a while could have it’s good points. ๐ ..cheerio, Janette.

I have never tried using a touch screen device for drawing, but it strikes me that this could be a very portable way of doing some sketches – with a much bigger range of tools than one could possibly carry around. Interesting. For the moment (cash wise) I’ll stick to pen/brush and paper but it could be quite versatile. Certainly you are getting some very nice results here!

Thank you…My iPad certainly is a handy portable art studio. My favourite app, is “Art Set Pro”; it has amazing naturalistic media. I still love to work on paper and canvas. Lots can be achieved with a simple pencil and paper and that important other “p” word practice – which I’ve seen you mention on your blog. It looks like your skills are rapidly progressing; very impressive! I look forward to seeing your future posts. All the best, Janette. ๐
