Began with graphite pencil on paper, then scanned the drawing into the iPad. I then brought it into the “Procreate” app where I drew in some colour (freehand) with the burnt tree and 4B charcoal, and darkened some of the line work with the ink bleed pen. *I post here usually every two to 3 weeks; more... Flowers 1.V – Inktense Pencil and Art App Media – and a Video
I drew this late last year with a black Inktense pencil, and used the Scanner Pro app to bring it into the iPad. From that app I took it into the iPad’s photo section, and from there into the Procreate app. That’s where I tidied up around the edges of the scanned image, and then... Continue Reading →
Flowers 1.U – Watercolour and Art App Media
I began with watercolour on paper, then whisked away some areas with the eraser set on Gesinski ink, in the Procreate app. Ideally more white paper should be left showing in the first place! I also dabbed on a bit more colour here and there, while in the app. I think my tinkering with it successfully... Continue Reading →
Flowers 1.T – and About My Art Shop
Another one for my flower series. A while back, I painted this in an app called, “Art Rage”. I’ve printed it onto a lovely %100 cotton paper, and added it to my art I have for sale in my local area. I have some small art card prints, and may eventually add a few small... Continue Reading →
Some Art in Various Stages of Finish – on Paper and on the iPad
I began this with graphite pencil and watercolour on paper, then with the “Scanner Pro” app brought it into the iPad. I had not left enough white on the flowers, so in the “Procreate” app I lifted some whites out (freehand) with the eraser. Also added a little more colour here and there before printing... Flowers 1.S
Began this on paper with an “Artline” ink pen, and washed over the inklines with water. Then I took the drawing into the “Procreate” app, where I drew in (freehand) some colour, using a little paint and the “artist” crayon.
Flowers 1.R – Drawn on the iPad
I used charcoal, paint and the smudge tools (drawn with my finger) in the Art Set Pro app.
Flowers 1.Q – Gouache on Paper, with a Bit of White Art App Paint
Scanned in my gouache painting with the iPad, using "Scanner Pro". I then took it into the "Procreate" app, where I finger painted in some white watercolour media over the red flowers. I had hoped to freshen up the overworked look of the flowers, however, it didn't quite work. In the gouache (Caran D'Ache Gouache Studio tablets) on... Continue Reading →
