Flower Play – Watercolour

Watercolour on Art Spectrum 210 gsm Draw and Wash paper. Size: A5.

Day 11 of the World Watercolour Month challenge.

Experimenting with both a wet in wet technique; and not doing a pencil underdrawing. I quite like this paper, though perhaps a bit thin for the amount of water I used. Anyway… easy enough to flatten it out later between some heavy books. In the next few washes I tried to keep it loose, and was happy that I managed a quick getaway before things got muddy! Phew!
