A Few Faces – Watercolour, Pencil, Procreate, Pigment Ink Print…

*Painted freehand on the iPad screen, with my finger, using: Gesinski ink, smudge tool and the ink bleed pen in the Procreate app.

The Gesinski ink has a rather pleasant washy feel.

Two drawings of a woman
I scanned in my little watercolour/gouache painting, and printed it in black and white onto Kraft paper. I love how the coloured pencil I’m adding looks on this tan paper.
Monotone picture of a woman
I’ll play around with the tone a bit more, before I print it again.
Painting of a woman
Drawn in the Procreate app. Began with a quick black ink drawing, added black undertones, then drew in the colour.
Drawing of a woman Watercolour, gouache and coloured pencil on 300gsm tan Strathmore mixed media paper. This paper is lovely, even though it does have some odd little line markings on it.

In my recent return post I soon discovered my turning off “likes” experiment was not a great idea. I could see them in the WordPress Reader, but not who was responding in this way. And being curious, I had to turn them back on to find out! So I’ll leave them on. I realised this option is a nice and simple way to aknowledge and show appreciation of each others’ posts. Thank you for your “likes”! 🙂

Have a great day.
