Gumleaves on the Windowsill, and other Sketches

This first small painting is of a bunch of gumleaves I picked and placed in a glass vase on the kitchen windowsill. They were quite dry (like our weather around here) and formed intriguing sculptural shapes. Another Gumleave painting here.
