I began this with graphite pencil and watercolour on paper, then with the “Scanner Pro” app brought it into the iPad. I had not left enough white on the flowers, so in the “Procreate” app I lifted some whites out (freehand) with the eraser. Also added a little more colour here and there before printing... Fineliner Pen on Paper, with a Video of Adding Colour in the Procreate app
This is another “Artline” fineliner pen drawing I did from a photo I took of a local swimming spot. Below is a quick video of the colour I added (freehand) in the Procreate app. Also a tiny touch of the ink pen in the app.
Flowers 1.S
Began this on paper with an “Artline” ink pen, and washed over the inklines with water. Then I took the drawing into the “Procreate” app, where I drew in (freehand) some colour, using a little paint and the “artist” crayon.
Some Art in Various Media – and Art Prints

A Still Life Drawing in Art App Media
Freehand drawn - with my finger - on the iPad. I used a brown paper surface, and: paint, pencil and smudge tools, in the Art Set Pro app. Have a great weekend!
Quick Sketch in Art App Media
Drew this while sitting in a cafe recently. A freehand sketch (with my finger) on the iPad (Air 2) in the Procreate app.

Foliage Drawings, and About a Recent Workshop
I began this work on paper, using a black fineliner "Artline" pen (brushed over it with water) - which has long been a favourite drawing tool. I scanned it into the iPad using the Scanner Pro app. Then hand drew some colour in Procreate, using the turpentine paint, and also used a little of the... Continue Reading →
