On Paper, Canvas, and iPad

I began this with graphite pencil and watercolour on paper, then with the “Scanner Pro” app brought it into the iPad. I had not left enough white on the flowers, so in the “Procreate” app I lifted some whites out (freehand) with the eraser. Also added a little more colour here and there before printing... This is another “Artline” fineliner pen drawing I did from a photo I took of a local swimming spot. Below is a quick video of the colour I added (freehand) in the Procreate app. Also a tiny touch of the ink pen in the app.
Began this on paper with an “Artline” ink pen, and washed over the inklines with water. Then I took the drawing into the “Procreate” app, where I drew in (freehand) some colour, using a little paint and the “artist” crayon.
I drew this with an “Artline” pen, (a type of pen I’ve enjoyed using for years) from a photo I took of rocks by a running stream, at a local swimming spot. I brushed over the lines with water - part of the fun is not knowing how the ink will spread. After scanning it in... Continue Reading →
