*Began this with quick
graphite pencil lines, did a little shading….then added some coloured pencil work, watercolour washes, and a little gouache.
These are drawn from memory and imagination. I like to begin something with a rush of linework, whether I have visual information to work from or not. It’s kind of fun not knowing exactly where the lines will fall. I can always tame them later (if I want).
Firstly a dash around with a black Pentel Brush pen, then some watercolour washes. With a touch here and there with coloured pencils. Painted on lovely paper in a favourite journal of mine.
Pencil sketch with watercolour washes, and a little art app media.
Enjoy your day!
