I drew this with Neopastels 1 (non-watersoluble) and a little Neopastels 11 (watersoluble), on a small A6 piece of “Toned Blue, Mixed Media, 300gsm Strathmore paper. The initial drawing I did quickly with a black ink brush pen. It’s fun to work speedily, not quite knowing where marks will land...I can always use a little gouache to fix bits up later.
