The initial drawing I did quickly with a black ink brush pen. It’s fun to work speedily, not quite knowing where marks will land...I can always use a little gouache to fix bits up later. Gesinski ink in the Procreate app. I also used the smudge tool set to Gesinski ink to get a more painterly effect.
